Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Applicants should possess a Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent degree with 16 years of education. The degree should be in Computer Sciences, Information Systems and Technology, Data Sciences, Information Security, Cyber Security, or other relevant IT disciplines related to SBP’s functions. The academic qualifications should be from HEC-recognized Pakistani institutions. In the case of foreign degrees, equivalence certificates from HEC are required.

Age: The maximum age limit for applicants is 26 years as of the date of the advertisement. There are relaxations in age limits for female candidates, transgender persons, candidates from minorities, and those from specific regions, as mentioned in the official announcement.

Experience: Fresh graduates and candidates with preferably one year of experience in the relevant field are encouraged to apply.


Application and Testing Procedure

Interested Pakistani citizens, including those from Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, who meet the eligibility criteria should follow these steps:

  2. Age will be considered as per your CNIC.

  5. NTS will notify shortlisted candidates through SMS and send admit cards to their postal addresses while also uploading them on its website for the written test.

Selection Procedure

Candidates who are shortlisted based on the written test and meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for the following selection process:

  1. Group Discussion/Psychometric Testing
  2. Panel Interview

Candidates must bring a printed copy of their completed Application Form, attested copies of educational/professional documents, the Equivalence Certificate from HEC (if applicable), proof of NTS fee payment, Domicile, CNIC, and three passport-sized photographs. It is essential to provide accurate information and documents, as any attempt to misinform or tamper with evidence will result in disqualification.

Successful candidates will be selected based on merit, with consideration for provincial/regional quota provisions as prescribed by the Government of Pakistan.

Pre-Induction Training

Successful trainees will then be offered appointments as Assistant Directors (OG-2) at SBP.

Compensation Package

Upon successful completion of training, trainees will be appointed as Assistant Directors (OG-2) with a monthly monetized salary starting from Rs. 120,000 or commensurate with the current emoluments being drawn by the successful candidates. During the training period, trainees will receive a monthly stipend equal to half of the salary.
